Hewn from the rock and set on the very edge of the small village of Fuente Nueva, near Orce in the province of Granada and with far reaching views to the mountains, the cave-house is in a wonderful location. The surrounding scenery is very varied, ranging from semi-desert, scrub-covered hills, cut through by fertile irrigated valleys, to high mountain ranges whose lower slopes are clad in vast pine forests. There are several natural parks in the area, where the possibilities for walking, picnicking and observing the wildlife are virtually limitless.
The house sleeps four people comfortably having two separate double bedrooms. A third room with a skylight could be used as another bedroom, studio or study.
There is a well equipped kitchen with a cooker and fridge-freezer, a large dining hall and a sitting room area with fireplace (for the winter), as well as a fully tiled modern bathroom with WC, bidet, hand-basin and walk-in shower.
Road access is excellent considering the untouched nature of the region. The cave is about 1½ hours from Granada airport and around 2 hours from Alicante and Murcia San Javier airports the majority of the route being by dual carriageway.
